This page is self-funded and dedicated helping our community organically grow. Any monies generated from advertising, calendar entries, etc are churned right back into costs of maintaining the website, brochures, flyers, etc.
Mission: To connect and organically create awareness for independently-owned businesses & owners, promote local events/fundraisers, and spotlight the amazing people in the area behind-the-scenes by providing a forum to post ShoutOUTs and a means to create sustainable connections. Our goal is to nurture a sustainable, global village by fostering relationships between consumers and businesses. We want the community to know the owners, work together, collaborate, creating that "Mayberry" feel where everyone feels they're in a small community, helping each other out, even though they are widely dispersed geographically.
Not only do we host a forum on Facebook for everyone to come together, but we have a blog where our community can actively engage wtih our guest bloggers from the community and businesses.
